         <title>You Make A Difference Every Day with What is In Your Heart</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>Here is a great story being passed online from friend to friend. It shows how 
important your life truly is and how what may appear the smallest service to 
others can make the biggest difference in someone else’s life.</p>
<p><b>The Cabbie</b></p>
<p>Twenty years ago, I drove a cab for a living. It was a cowboy's life, a life 
for someone who wanted no boss. What I didn't realize was that it was also a 
ministry.</p>
<p>Because I drove the night shift, my cab became a moving confessional. 
Passengers climbed in, sat behind me in total anonymity, and told me about their 
lives. I encountered people whose lives amazed me, ennobled me, made me laugh 
and weep.</p>
<p>But none touched me more than a woman I picked up late one August night. I 
was responding to a call from a small brick fourplex in a quiet part of town. I 
assumed I was being sent to pick up some partiers, or someone who had just had a 
fight with a lover, or a worker heading to an early shift at some factory for 
the industrial part of town.</p>

         <title>Things Aren’t Always What They Seem</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>Two angels were traveling and, weary from foot travel, stopped at the home of 
a family who had found good fortune. The angels clothes were worn and their 
appearances were unkempt.</p>
<p>The family looked at the outer appearances of the angels, judged them harshly 
and refused the angels a guest room. Instead, the family gave the angels access 
to a cold, old basement in an abandoned building on their property.</p>
<p>As they prepared their beds from the garbage on the basement floor, the older 
angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.</p>
<p>When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, “Things aren’t 
always what they seem.”</p>
<p>At the end of another day’s travels, the angels came to the home of a poor 
farm family. After sharing what little food they had, the couple let the angels 
sleep in their bed where the angels could have a good night’s sleep.</p>
<p>When the sun came up in the morning, the angels found the farmer and his wife 
in tears.</p>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This a story about four people: Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.</p>
<p>There was an important job to be done; Everybody was sure that Somebody would 
do it.</p>
<p>Anybody could have done it; but Nobody did it.</p>
<p>Somebody got angry about that; because it was Everybody's job.</p>
<p>Everybody thought Anybody could do it; but Nobody realized that Everybody 
wouldn't do it.</p>
<p>It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could 
have done.</p>

         <title>A Million Dollars A Word</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>When F. W. Woolworth was a young store clerk, he tried to convince his boss 
to have a ten-cent sale to reduce inventory.</p>
<p>The boss agreed, and the idea was a resounding success. This inspired 
Woolworth to open his own store and price items at a nickel and a dime. He 
needed capital for such a venture, so he asked his boss to supply the capital 
for part interest in the store.</p>
<p>His boss turned him down flat. &quot;The idea is too risky,&quot; he told Woolworth. 
&quot;There are not enough items to sell for five and ten cents.&quot;</p>
<p>Woolworth went ahead without his boss's backing, and he not only was 
successful in his first store, but eventually he owned a chain of F. W. 
Woolworth stores across the nation.</p>
<p>Later, his former boss was heard to remark, &quot;As far as I can figure out, 
every word I used to turn Woolworth down cost me about a million dollars.&quot;</p>

         <title>The Power of Great Habits</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>The beginning of a habit is like a thin thread. But every time you repeat the 
habit, you strengthen it by adding another thin thread, until you have a visible 
strand and then a great cable that binds you through act and thought.</p>
<p>You are what you repeatedly do and think. You first create your habits. Then 
your habits create who you are in the world. You do not decide your future. You 
decide your thoughts. Your thoughts decide your actions which become your 
habits. Your habits decide your future. Achievement is not an event; it is a 
habit.</p>
<p>The capacity for reform and change is inside each human. I’ve never met a 
person in whom I couldn’t see possibilities, even those others deem failures. 
Each human can change and improve his or her life anytime they choose and are 
ready to commit to improvement. Whenever a human develops the desire, they can 
remove what is defeating him or her, because it is always inside.</p>
<p>The human spirit is stronger than anything that happens to it.</p>
